C-Tech Associates, Inc. develops and manufactures proven educational programs and training aids. Our primary goal is to prepare students for jobs or additional education by employing a unique entry-level, hands-on, gender-neutral approach to training. C-Tech Programs share one goal in common: to certify students for meaningful employment and/or advanced training in the telecommunications field. We have established a nationwide network of independent Certified Training Facilities (CTFs) as well as standards for the certification of instructors and students. With a 98% completion rate and an 90% certification rate, C-Tech has trained and certified 45,000 students many with
multiple certifications and over 800 instructors at more than 500 facilities
throughout the country and overseas.
C-Tech was founded in 1993 as a manufacturer, under private label of network test equipment for IBM, AMP and Anixter. In 1995, C-Tech entered the educational market after designing a patented training aid, ACT with DAVE™
(Advanced Cable Trainer with DAta, Voice and Electric tester). C-Tech training labs are portable, and classes can be taught in many environments. Our programs are delivered in community colleges, high schools, adult education centers, Public Housing Authorities, and Job Corps Centers, to name a few. Our students are also diverse: ages 16-60, male, female, top students, those with only 7th grade reading ability, Limited English Proficient, disabled, unemployed and underemployed.
Leading Telecommunications companies (Berk-Tek, CABA, Dymo Industrial, Graybar, Hubbell Premise Wiring, IDEAL Industries, Leviton Integrated Networks, Leviton Voice & Data, Omnitron Systems Technology, Inc., On-Q Home, Radiall, Siemon, Specified Technologies Inc., Wachter and Wiretracks) have reviewed the C-Tech curriculum for content and applicability and are promoting the hiring of C-Tech graduates to their networks of dealers.
C-Tech was one of the 2001 Deloitte & Touche Fastest 50 Technology Growth Companies in New Jersey, for the 3rd consecutive year. C-Tech was also part of the 2000 Deloitte and Touche Fastest 500 Technology Growth Companies in the nation.
