Following the Success of the
CeBIT Event
ACTE Asks C-Tech to Sponsor their 1st Cabling Lab
Bringing Industry and Education together was
the theme at the CeBIT America Convention this past June [see
related story]. Based upon the success of the event, the same
theme will
be the focus of the inaugural at this year’s Tech Expo in Orlando, FL. C-Tech, in conjunction with the Association for
Career and Technical Education (ACTE), will be hosting this live simulation
of a network installation. This will be the only Student Demonstration
at this year's convention.
“The Association for Career and Technical Education constantly strives to
make its Annual Convention & Career Tech Expo an event where career and
technical educators can see and learn first hand what is shaping the
profession,” according to Julia Richardson, Senior Director, Business and
Professional Development for ACTE. “ACTE believes C-Tech’s Cabling Lab
offers an unique and excellent opportunity for educators from around the
United States to experience in-demand job-ready training first hand.”
Join us, as students install Copper and Fiber Optic data, voice and video
networks. You will be able to look on as students run the cable, terminate
the jacks and blocks, construct patch cords, test and troubleshoot the
various networks.
You will be able to find ACTE’s on your floor plan in sections 460-559, located catty-corner to
.
