C-Tech Cabling
On June 18-20, students
from the New York City Department of Education will be Cabling a
classroom, Building computers and then Networking them together at the
CeBIT America conference in New York City. In this unprecedented event,
attendees will actually be able to see the skills-based, job-ready training
that is being taught in our schools.
C-Tech was asked by the
NYCDOE to sponsor the Cabling portion of the event.
“We are very excited about participating with the
NYCDOE at the CeBIT America conference,” states Ken Lowenstein, C-Tech’s
Director of Marketing. “The NYC schools, as well as others across the
country, are doing an exceptional job of providing students with in-demand,
career-building skill sets."
After hearing about this opportunity,
C-Tech contacted some of its program recognizers
―
Berk-Tek, Hubbell Premise Wiring, Leviton Voice & Data and Specified
Technologies, Inc. ―
who readily agreed to help support the students
and the schools.
