Connecting To Business
Connecting To Business is a tool for the Career Counselor or Instructor desiring to connect with local businesses. This booklet enables him or her to better understand how decision makers in the business world think. Many job developers come from academic or social services backgrounds and need an insight into the business world to approach business contacts at their own level and speak to them in their own language. Connecting To Business provides this insight as well as many helpful hints for creating a rapport with business that can help with job placement in both the short and long terms.

TECH TALK:
Understanding Voice Recording Technology
On Wednesday, March 26, Jack Goldstein of Voice Print International will be presenting a TECH TALK on the importance of voice recording technology for communications networks. He will discuss how and why customers use the technology. He will explain recording technologies and how they have changed over the years. Jack will provide an example of Voice Print's approach/technology and its advantages, benefits, features, applications, etc. Then he will provide a recording interface schematic which shows the recording system and how it interfaces with radio, telecom and data systems. As usual, the session will end with Q&A.
